Having to give up a dog is often one of the hardest things you will ever have to do. We understand there are circumstances when is best.
Please do not feel hopeless– we are here to help.
Requirements to Surrender a Dog:
The dog must not have a history or current aggression towards people or dogs
The dog must be up to date with medical needs- spayed/neutered and vaccinated. You can also give a donation in order to cover the expenses for medical needs (Vetco offers affordable options)
The dog must legally belong to you in order to surrender the dog
At least 10 photos and 2 videos of the dog must be provided upon surrender
We require a minimum of 10 days once we accept the dog into our rescue in order to find a foster home. We can also adopt the dog from your home.
If the dog needs to be removed from your home immediately, a donation to cover 10 days of boarding costs will be required.
